Flex Data Monitoring Screen for Brokerage Companies
What was the problem?
The biggest difficulty caused by real time data monitoring displays offered by brokerage firms to their customers is the requirement for users to download java applet type software. It is not possible for employees of bigger institutions to download and install such software to their computers during working hours. Therefore, the prospect of following up İstanbul Stock Exchange figures instantly is low.
How did we solve?
We created a data monitoring system called CreatorSTOCK working with the Flex technology on browsers, using the flash player that exists in 99% of computers. CreatorSTOCK, gets raw streaming data over a server recorded by data vendors. It converts this raw data to tables and graphics that the users utilize in real time via web browsers. Moreover, being supported by RIA and being very talented, it gives users the possibility to act at liberty and create tables and graphics at any type and size on the interface.
With this application which is a first in Turkey, brokerage companies can provide service to their customers on any part of the world with a computer having an internet connection or with a PDA having a web browser and with a mobile device such as a mobile phone. This is possible especially without downloading any program and in the instant.

B2B (business to business) Order Portal
What was the problem?
Regional sales units and main distributors were sending the orders received, from retailers in their regions, to their main office by means of an excel file. Controlling all the orders on excel file coming from different regions of Turkey, putting them together and transferring them to SAP was building a serious operational load on the side of the main office.
How did we solve?
We developed a special web based application over CreatorCRM (Customer Relationship Management) framework software. By means of this software;
On the side of the Sales Team; field presellers can place their orders online with their user name and password; through the web interface designed with regards to SAP criteria. If they prefer, they can send these orders to another center in the same instant or at another time.
On the side of the main office; on the screen where all the orders placed by presellers can be viewed, collective or solo authorization on orders can be granted after final check. Information of the authorized order is automatically sent to preseller. Changes made to the goods (such as on price, product etc.) can be updated and revised on the system. To give a more specific example: Notifications and Announcements such as “Orders should be placed on the previous Thursday since December 31, 2008 Friday is a public holiday” that must be conveyed to personnel can be made over the portal.
Extra applications to make the order more efficient are developed as well. Such as for instance: “Attention! You have only 2 parcels of orders left to withdraw 1 container of goods.”
Whatsmore, to be able to transfer orders into SAP, an automated reporting has been created.
